HDR is an architectural, engineering, and consulting firm based in Omaha, Nebraska, United States, and has worked on projects in all 50 U.S. states and in 60 countries, including notable projects such as the Hoover Dam Bypass, Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, and Roslin Institute building.

HDR is the 9th largest employee-owned company in the United States with revenues of over $2.2 billion in 2017. Engineering News-Record ranked HDR as the6th best engineering firm in the world in 2018, up from 9th place in 2017.

Eric Keen

CEO

As chief executive officer, Eric Keen is responsible for the leadership and strategic growth of our company and also serves as the chairman for the HDR Board of Directors. 

Eric became CEO in 2017 after previously serving as president and chief operating officer and engineering company president. 

A graduate of the University of Iowa, Eric is active in many professional and civic groups. In 2012, he led the creation of the HDR Foundation, an employee-funded and administered charitable giving organization that benefits the communities where the firm’s employees live and work by supporting activities that align with the company’s values and areas of expertise.
