The Call for 2025 Local Organizers is October 30th – January 10, 2025. Program participants are young adults, 18-25 years of age. * 

Applicants applying as a
Local Organizer may be a partnership between a local governmental entity, educational institution, professional association, community-based non-profit organization, private or public sector employer. It is strongly recommended that a public transportation organization be an active participant in the proposed Local Organizing team. No fee will be charged to Participating Youth. There is a $3,500 USD participation fee for annual Program Participation (payable within 30 calendar days of invoice receipt).

A Program Overview and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) are provided as attachments. The “virtual” Onboarding Sessions (“live” and “recorded”) for Local Organizers/Participants will occur in early February; and the Program concludes in August.

* 6. Topics you feel would be helpful to address during the Career Awareness Sessions, i.e., Professional and Personal Development?

[Note: Local youth participation in an Innovation Challenge Team (4-7 members), the Career Awareness Trivia Contest, and Critical Conversations Local Focus Groups are strongly encouraged, but not mandatory.]
